Skybreak: Plane vs Missiles Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Android game Skybreak: Plane vs Missiles (package com.skybreak.game), published by Omukti Labs.
Summary
Skybreak has no accounts and your game progress stays on your phone. From version 1.1 the game shows ads from Google AdMob and uses Google Firebase for game statistics and crash reports. These Google services collect some device and usage data, described below. We (Omukti Labs) do not collect your name, email or contact details.
1. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows a full-screen ad between some flights and offers optional video ads that double the credits of a flight or of the daily reward, let you continue a flight once after a crash, or unlock three more free practice flights for the day. You choose whether to watch these videos. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. When the game requests or shows an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID;
- Approximate location derived from your IP address;
- App and device information (device model, operating system, language, app version) and interactions with ads (views, clicks);
- Diagnostics, such as performance and crash information of the ad software.
Google uses this data to deliver ads, measure them, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show personalised ads. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
2. Game statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To understand how the game is played and to fix problems, the game uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:
- A random app instance identifier created for this installation (not your name, email, phone number or Advertising ID);
- Game events, such as flights started and finished, scores, flight times, the chosen mode and aircraft, unlocks, missions claimed, whether an ad was shown or a reward video was watched, and whether you tapped Share (not what you shared or with whom);
- Device and app information (device model, operating system, language, app version) and an approximate country derived from your IP address;
- Crash and error reports with technical details of the problem.
This information is used only to improve the game and fix crashes. It is not used for advertising, Firebase Analytics does not collect the Advertising ID, and we do not sell it. It is processed by Google as our service provider: firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Google Analytics keeps event-level and user-level data for 2 months (the shortest setting); crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
3. Your choices
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent with Google’s consent form before personalised ads are shown. Where this applies, you can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings › Privacy & ad choices.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone’s settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
- Ads, statistics and crash reports need an internet connection. The game itself still works offline; without a connection no ads are shown and statistics are sent later.
- Uninstalling the game removes its app instance identifier from your phone.
4. Sharing your score
After a scored flight you can tap Share. The game then draws a picture of your result (score, mode, flight time, stars, missiles dodged and the aircraft you flew) on your phone and opens Android’s share menu with a short message and a link to the game on Google Play. Nothing is shared unless you tap Share and choose an app or a person. The picture goes only to the app you choose, under that app’s own privacy policy; it is not sent to us. A temporary copy is kept in the game’s private cache on your phone and is replaced the next time you share.
5. Data stored on your device
Your game progress (credits, unlocked aircraft, upgrades, missions, best scores and settings) is saved only on your device, inside the app’s private storage. It is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes this progress permanently. Android cloud backup is turned off for the game.
6. Permissions
- Internet and network state: to load ads and send game statistics and crash reports.
- Advertising ID (and Android’s ad-services permissions): used by Google’s ad software as described above.
- Vibration: optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.
- Notifications: an optional daily reminder when your daily chest is ready. It is scheduled on your phone (nothing is sent to us), only after you allow it, and you can turn it off in Settings.
7. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are limited to Google’s “Parental guidance” (PG) content rating, so ads for mature content are not shown.
8. Deleting your data
We do not hold any data that identifies you. Your game progress is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data. The statistics and crash reports described above are linked only to the random app instance identifier, which is reset when you uninstall the game, and Google deletes them automatically after the retention periods above. For any question about your data, contact us at the address below.
9. Changes
If the game’s handling of data changes, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
